Mo'Nique just won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie 'Precious'.

Prior to winning the award, she sat down with Barbara Walters to talk about her life, the movie role and her relationship with her husband.

The actress and comedian had a tough upbringing which included sexual abuse at the hands of her older brother. She drew upon that horrible experience for her role as Mary in 'Precious'

Mo'Nique also explained that she and her husband Sidney Hicks have somewhat of an open marriage. Her belief is that cheating is not the act of having sex outside of the marriage. It's lying to your partner about it.

A lot of people have wondered why Mo'Nique's legs weren't shaved at The Golden Globe Awards. She explained to Barbara why she doesn't.
