In November of 2017, Ray J partnered up with Cowboy Wholesale, one of the leading consumer electronics distributors in the United States to create Raycon, which provides innovative, high-demand electronics designed and backed by celebrities. The $31 million deal to create products designed for consumers to not only keep up with the fast-paced pace of our everyday world, but also conquer it.
Raycon was made with the idea that electric power fueling your everyday adventures provides convenience, efficiency, and novelty to your life, enabling a better extension of yourself.
Prior to Raycon Global, Ray J's Raytroniks created the electric scooter (Scoot-E-Bike) bike that was the talk of the town. With a top speed of 20 mph and a range up to 30 miles per charge, Scoot-E-Bike is a fun, unique way to get around the city. High profile celebrities like Sean “Diddy” Combs, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, actor Terrence J and Snoop Dogg all enjoy riding on their Scoot-E-Bikes. It’s 100% electric!
In a partnership with his sister recording artist Brandy Norwood, Ray J formed a new beauty company to manufacture premium products for men and women’s grooming, maintenance, and styling. Particularly, Hairtroniks focuses on delivering the latest in hair lines and hair accessories.
